Big 37!!!!!!

Well on February 25 I officially became 37 weeks.  Full term baby.  I have been pretty laid back.  But all of a sudden I just wanted to hold Lenox.  To meet him and become a mom.  I am trying to be patient and know he will come on his time.  Although going pass my due date is not an option.  LOL!!! As of today I am 18 days away from my EDD.  I can't believe it is almost here.

I have started to swell in my lower half.  My feet look like the nutty professors.  Having major leg cramps and hip pain.  More pressure and braxton hicks as well.  Oh and sleeping is so hard.  But it is all worth it.  Every symptom, ounce of weight, emotional break down, and stretch marks is more than worth it for him.  I can't wait to meet him.

Introducing.........

Lenox Senior Sigmond

We have finally agreed on a name.

I found Lenox because my SO wanted to name him Noble.  So i googled names that meant noble.  Lenox came up because a nobleman in  a movie was named Noble.  We both liked the name.

Lenox means having lots of elm trees...so our baby is going to be fruitful.  Which in the Christan definition means to be blessed with abundance.  Also the elm tree symbolizes strength of will and intuition.  So we are happy with the name and meaning (meaning was important to us)

Senior is an unusual middle name.  But recently (5 days ago) a VERY close friend (like a brother) of my SOs passed suddenly from a heart attack.  He was only 33.  His name is Curtis Senior.  I will admit I immediately was not a fan and told him that.  But I also immediately agreed.  It has special meaning to him and I have no problem with it.

So it took us 36 weeks but we finally have the perfect name. I truly love it.

3d pics

Here are some pics from my 3d ultrasound.  He was not cooperating at all.  But are technician was super great.  He ended up giving us about an hour session (paid for 15 minutes) so we could see his face.  Baby Sigmond was sleeping, and had is head thrown back against the placenta.  He was very slow to respond to any type of stimulus. My mom and niece came from Huntsville AL (1.5 hour drive) to view and of course my SO was there.  Overall, I was very happy with the experience.

Long overdue update

So it has been FOREVER since I have made a post.  The holidays and preparing for the baby is taking all of my attention. I am almost 37 weeks...FULL TERM baby!!! So happy.  So I was feeling great.  My honeymoon phase started around 28 weeks.  at 36 weeks I turned into a 75 year old woman.  Hip pain, soreness, short breath, need help getting off the couch.  But overall, doing okay.

Did a 3d ultrasound.  I will post pics soon.  He was not very cooperative but we had a great tech that went over and beyond and we did get some nice face shots. I am now the one with the wobble.  LOL.  I didn't think it would happen but i definitely have the pregnancy swag.  Oh and stretch marks came around week 35..it was like ugh..but I have learned to accept it..

I am gaining weight like crazy.  Idk who came up with the 25-35 weight gain but my body is going pass that.  I refuse to share the number.  I wish I did not know.  I dont't look huge at all. Face not swollen, bump not exteremely big by any means.  I guess my hips, thighs, and bewbs are storing it.  I am not eating crazy (although not nearly as healthy as before the baby). I basically eat when I am hungry and stop when I am full.  I eat a number of heatlhy meals and snacks.  But will indulge as well.  I have exercise on and off during the pregnancy although currently I am off.  Either way I am over it now.  I just have to focus after the baby to loose.

In the end I know he will be worth every system, sacrifice, and struggle...I can't wait to meet him..

I guess that it is...
